C.J. is a lifetime resident of Oregon, where he attended college and graduate school in the Willamette Valley. He is currently employed as an auditor in his home community, with aspirations of writing full time. C.J.'s hobbies include reading, writing, video games and old time radio. Indeed, it was the old radio serials and pulps that inspired his debut novel, Rise of The Black Hand. Favorite authors include Isaac Asimov and Mickey Spillane, though he enjoys a diverse mix of writers. Other favorites include: Glen Cook, J.K. Rowling, Jim Butcher, Richard Knaak, Timothy Zahn, David Gemmell and Robert Parker. C.J. is A lover of graphic novels, zombies, vampires and all things supernatural, and he is firmly convinced that sarcasm, much like writing, is an art form. When not listening to old time radio serials, he enjoys both heavy metal and classical music, thinks hockey is the only sport worth watching, and openly supports a constitutional ban on reality tv in all forms.
